WHO WE ARE
AUSTIN WOMEN'S TENNIS ASSOCIATION is a not-for-profit tennis organization dedicated to promoting tennis-related activities for adult women in the Austin area. We encourage social, league and tournament play, tennis clinics, and help support the expansion of Austin public tennis facilities and youth development activities.

AWTA functions as a citywide "tennis club" for women who aren't affiliated with a private club but want to compete in Women's Team Tennis of Austin (WTTA) weekday leagues. AWTA also sponsors informal Thursday PlayDays that can introduce new players to the game and provide a means for non-league women to enjoy tennis and meet other players.

Profit from our modest dues is used to improve the tennis community. Since 1994 we've donated more than $30,000 to a variety of local organizations, primarily to enhance junior programs, but also to improved the facilities at public courts.
