President's Message
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Normal routine
sounds pretty good right now, doesn't it? Dust off those rackets and gather
up your gear - league season is just around the corner. If you are like me,
you can't even remember the last time you restrung your racket, so that may
be something to put on your "to do" list soon! AWTA is hosting a great
"tune-up" for the Spring WTTA season - Ann Caswell Doubles Championship
Tournament - so grab a partner and sign up for a fun day of tennis and catch
up on all that's happening with your friends. I hope to see everyone come
out for this fun event. See you on the courts!

The Ann Caswell Tournament, sponsored by AWTA teams Second Wind, Double Trouble, and Geta a grip, will be held on February 2.
9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Double elimination tournament;
Best of 9 games format (no ad scoring)
Box Lunches Provided
no rain date ... entry fees voided in case of inclement weather

AWTA Monthly Meeting
The monthly AWTA meeting will be held on February 10 from 1:30-2:30 at the Senior Activity Center, 2874 Shoal Crest Avenue (corner of 29th St N Lamar). All members welcome. Each team should be represented.
